“Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.” – Martin Luther King Jr.
Some say “Ignorance is bliss”, but the fact is “Ignorance is abyss”. Ignorance is deep darkness and deep wide chasm in our mind. One cannot learn everything, but we must learn everything necessary to sensibly perform with a sense of purpose. Ignorance can be dispelled easily when you can realize your zone of ignorance in line with your aspiration.
Some people do not realize the dangers of ignorance until it is too late. It requires deep self-discovery to understand what you like to accomplish and how much you know about how to accomplish what you want to accomplish. Realization of ignorance automatically attracts the knowledge to light up the dark zone.
To understand yourself, deeply explore yourself. What is your purpose in life? Do you have the knowledge and skill to accomplish your desire confidently? Do you know what are your areas of ignorance? Think, discover the dark zone, and get ignited to dispel the darkness.
After discovering your ignorance, have the confidence and willpower necessary to fill the gap and transform towards a better state. Open up, start growing you and the organization you belong. Light up your path towards success. Imagine blindfolding yourself and walking towards the destination you like to reach. Then, experience light! Daniel J. Boorstin said “The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge.”
